Apple Picken

So today a friend and her kids went with my kids and I to an Ditmars Orchard. It was a lot of fun and it was a great teachable moment. Kenton and the older kids really enjoyed pulling the apples from the tree's. Madison and the younger kids enjoyed picking up the rotten apples off the ground and putting them in the bag.

This is the second year in a row that I have taken the kids here.  I think that it will be an every September event.
