This is not a very good picture, but you get the idea. I just got out of the shower so my hair is still wet. You can see that I am starting to get big. I never gain that much weight but just get big!!!
So this pregnancy has been great. I really can't complain a lot about it. A lot of the things that I have as symptoms I also had with the other two. One of my big issues is heartburn. I get it all the time but usually at night when I am sitting down or laying down getting ready for bed. I have not used any other pills to get rid of it then Tums. My doctor told me that if it got to bad I could take somethings that is over the counter at the store but really don't want to if I don't have too.
Another thing that bothers me is what I call bloating or just feeling uncomfortable. Most of the time I just feel like I am like a balloon and need a pin to pop it!!! The only thing that I have found to make me feel better when I get to this point is to drink a lot of water and rest or go to bed.
The last things that has gotten worse for me with each child is varicose veins. Most of the issues are in the leg that I broke in college. When I had Kenton the varicose veins started at the end of the pregnancy. With Madison it started around the middle of the second trimester. With this pregnancy it stated in the middle of the first trimester. With Kenton it was not that bad and I just elevated my leg at night and felt a lot better. With this pregnancy it would start in the morning and go all day. So as you know with two sometimes three kids already here I can't just sit on my butt and elevate my leg. So I ended up getting compression hoes that cost a lot of money and are not that fun to wear.
Even thought I do have a couple of complains I still enjoy being pregnant. For those of you who don't know me that well I was told I would and should not have kids when I was younger. I was born with a rare lung condition and in the 1980's they were not educated and did not have the medical technology they do now. If my parents or me would have listened to the doctors at that time I would not be alive and or would not have two beautiful kids like I do now. I also love proving people wrong.
I am so excited and anxious to meet this little one moving inside me and just wish that it was 10 days and not 100 days away. I love being a mom and feel that God put me on this earth to take care of kids not just mine. I can't wait to see and feel this baby grown inside of me and just look forward to welcoming another Robbins baby into the world.
